ILDE ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

 

UPF complies with the ALLEA - The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity and establishes certain community norms regarding content and behaviour on the ILDE Platform.

 

By using the ILDE site, you agree not to any of the following:

  • Post any material that is knowingly false, misleading, inaccurate or cannot be substantiated.
  • Post any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Post material that is clearly outside of the scope of the materials posted on the site (learning designs) nor disrupt others’ use of the site by, for example, deliberately posting irrelevant material or copies of identical material.
  • Behave in an abusive manner, and nor harass, threaten, or attack anyone. If you disagree with someone's posting or comment, don't attack that person ... agree to disagree, respectfully
  • Use strong language and avoid terms and expressions that may offend others..
  • Use the site in a manner that adversely affects the availability of its resources to other users.
  • Use the site for commercial gain or to advertise your, or your organisation's, own services or products.
  • Collect or store any personally identifiable information from other members of the Service without their express permission nor use any other user’s personal data for any purposes other than contacting them for matters relating to the site, nor impersonate any other person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Encourage or enable any other individual to do any of the activities prohibited in these Terms of Service
  • Send any unsolicited or unauthorized spam, advertising messages, promotional materials, email, junk mail, chain letters or other form of solicitation
  • Avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, impair, descramble or otherwise circumvent any technological measure implemented by UPF or any of our providers or any other third party (including another user) to protect the Service
  • Access the Service by any means other than through interfaces provided by UPF and as otherwise expressly authorized under these Terms of Service

 

You should remember that you are legally responsible for what you write. By participating in a discussion you undertake to indemnify UPF against any liability arising from any obscene, defamatory, seditious, blasphemous or other actionable statement published by you, or any breach of confidentiality, copyright or other intellectual property rights, and against all damages, losses, claims and costs arising from any these actionable statements.

 

If asked by a UPF representative, you agree to cease posting any content deemed to breach these terms by the site’s moderators.
